In July 2013, ACHCO received funds from the Special Mission of the Republic of Lithuania to Afghanistan to undertake an assessment mission to the Jam minaret in Ghor province, in collaboration with the Department of Historic Monuments of the Afghan Ministry of Information and Culture. The findings of this mission, which took place in October 2013, are being integrated into an Action Plan for Jam, currently under preparation. For photos of the mission go to
